In America, many people use a previously live tree for Xmas.   This means that each year they have to get a new tree, and then discard the tree after Xmas.   They may go out in the woods and cut down a tree that will satisfy their requirements, or if they live in the city they will be more apt to shop at some place that has gathered a number of trees they have cut at their Xmas tree farm.   However, our family has used an artifical tree for a number of years.   It is relatively small, and fairly easy to assemble.   I have included pictures of taking the tree down and storing it.
