There were to be 12 of us for dinner.   Four in Julianne's family (Julianne, her husband Gary, her eldest ( a girl)  - Julia (Lia), and her son Daniel (Danny);  Pamela, my youngest daughter; four in the Prakash family, Prakash, his wife Suneeta, his eldest (a boy) - Tanmay , and his daughter (Juhee); and the three of us - Martha, me, and Jennifer (Jenni or as some know her, ningning).   So we have to add eating space for dinner.        This table is ordinarily stored in the basement, but since it is light it can be toted upstairs to augment the dining room table.  The wooden table on the right under the picture is a table I began eating on when I was about 6.  When my father died (my mother had died before him) we brought the table and chairs, a buffet, and some other things to our home.          Pepper lies in her favorite spot and makes sure we place the tablecloths, napkins, and chairs properly.
